In 2019, we’ll be offering three different catered meals for your enjoyment and to give you the chance to spend time with friends d and new. All three must be pre-ordered and paid via the portal below and meal orders will close on February 28th, 2019 at midnight.
THURSDAY - 3/14
We’ll lead off with our traditional Welcome Reception in the Crystal Ballroom with a cash bar and followed by a unique Pennsylvania Dutch Buffet featuring Green Salad with Hot Bacon Dressing, Chicken Pot Pie, Schnitz un Knepp (a local specialty of pork shoulder and apple dumpling casserole), Amish Potato Salad, Cucumber Slaw, and topped off with Apple Pie and Shoofly Pie. Sound good? You won’t have to leave the hotel and a bargain at 29 bucks. The good times and camaraderie are free and we hope you’ll stick around for our traditional LRCA auction featuring an assortment of desirable Lagotto-themed items.
FRIDAY - 3/15
Specialty Day! You won’t want to leave ringside so we’ve made it easy for you. How about a fresh Italian “Slice of Heaven” hoagie lovingly crafted by the Deli of Italy with Sicilian Salami, Capocollo, Prosciutto, Fresh Mozzarella & Tomatoes with a splash of Vinaigrette, and chips, cookie and a drink on the side? You want ‘em - we got ‘em and only $16 a piece. And followed by…
FRIDAY - 3/15
So many choices, so little time! We’ll be celebrating the successful conclusion of Specialty ’19 on Friday night with the traditional Judges’ Dinner served in the Crystal Ballroom of the host hotel. Following dinner, we’ll hear from our judges with their impressions of the day’s entry. Please choose from the following entree options:
Salmon Rockefeller: Filet of fresh Atlantic salmon crusted with Spinach, Bacon and seasoned Panko crumbs and finished with Anisette Cream. Roasted Red Skin Potatoes - Sugar Snap Peas
Char-Grilled New York Strip: Topped with Peppercorn Demi-Glace and Frizzled Onions. Horseradish Mashed Potatoes - Seasonal Vegetable Medley
Tuscan Chicken Wellington: Breast of Boneless Chicken topped with Wilted Spinach, Mushrooms, Tomato and Fresh Mozzarella wrapped in Puff Pastry with Balsamic Reduction. Yukon Gold Potatoes - Matchstick Vegetables.
Vegetable Wellington: Puff Pastry stuffed with Seasonal Vegetables, Portobello Mushrooms, Melted Smoked Gouda Cheese and finished with a Roasted Red Pepper Coulis
All entrees include salad, beverage, and Banana Cake with Banana Buttercream and are prix fixe at $40. A cash bar will be available throughout for your convenience.
