Through the hospitality of the Celtic Classic Cluster, our fourth National  Specialty will find us in York, Pennsylvania from March 13 through March 17, 2019.

Wednesday, March 13th, will find Beverly Andersen of Scottsdale, AZ officiating in our breed ring followed by her husband, Gary, the following day. Both are well known veteran BIS judges of vast experience.

Friday is Specialty Day! We’ll start with Linda Clark of Tulsa, OK judging Beginner Puppy followed by Junior Showmanship. Linda first came on the scene showing primarily Working and Sporting Breeds before securing her judging credentials. Junior Showmanship is a particular favorite for her.

She’ll be followed in the ring by our own Sabina Zdunić Šinković from Croatia. Many of us follow Sabina on Facebook and know of her achievements as the current face of the enormously successful Kan Trace line.

Finally, our breed ring will presided over by the inestimable Gilberto Grandi who literally needs no introduction to Lagotto fanciers. Our National will sadly mark his final international assignment in our breed so it will be an honor to host him on the day.

Saturday and Sunday will find the LRCA supporting the Lagotto entry of the two Delaware County Kennel Club shows with Joan Savage of Banks, OR, yet another distinguished BIS-qualified judge with roots in the Sporting Group, on Saturday followed by Joanne Paulk of Santa Fe, still another BIS judge, on Sunday.

All in all, we think that you’ll agree that this is an enormously interesting and diverse blue ribbon panel. We’ll see you soon!
