Why not consider a Pet First Aid & CPR course

The warm weather is here to stay for awhile. Many people will start to enjoy more outdoor activities, and even travel with their dogs. These times are memorable and precious but....

Do you know the signs of heatstroke?

Do you the signs of choking?

Do you know what to do if your pet stops breathing?

Can you help a pet that has been injured?

Can you control bleeding in your pet before taking them to the veterinarian?

Did you know that 1 out of 4 or more pets could be saved if just one pet first aid technique was applied before getting emergency veterinary care? (per American Animal Hospital Association)

If you answered no to any of the questions above, you may benefit from a Pet First Aid and CPR Course.

Many training and obedience centers offer courses at this time of year. The American Red Cross and PetTech are two organizations that offer this type of course. Locations and dates are available on their websites (listed below). It is a very valuable peace of mind for yourself and your dog!
